About The Show

Celebrating Our Community Since 1888

The Murrumburrah-Harden Show has been bringing our community together since 1888, proudly celebrating the agricultural heritage, local talent and community spirit that make our region such a special place to live.

For generations, the Show has been a much-loved tradition for families across Harden-Murrumburrah and the surrounding districts. It is a chance to catch up with friends and neighbours, celebrate achievements, showcase our district and enjoy a great day out.

Today, the Show continues to be organised by the Murrumburrah-Harden Show Society, a dedicated committee of volunteers who generously contribute their time, energy and skills to ensure this important community event continues to thrive.

Something for Everyone

While agriculture remains at the heart of our Show, the event has grown to offer something for all ages and interests.

From livestock competitions, horse events and pavilion exhibits to woodchopping, entertainment, market stalls, trade displays and family activities, the Show celebrates the very best of our region.

It provides an opportunity for local farmers, exhibitors, businesses, community groups and individuals to showcase their talents, products and achievements, while bringing visitors into our town and supporting the local economy.

More than just an agricultural show, it is a wonderful community gathering and one of the highlights of the Hilltops region’s annual calendar.

Our Show. Our Community. Our Future.

The Murrumburrah-Harden Show has been part of our community for more than 135 years. With continued support from our members, volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors and visitors, we look forward to building on this wonderful tradition for many years to come.

Whether you attend, exhibit, volunteer, sponsor or become a member, you are helping keep the spirit of our Show alive.

We invite you to become part of the Murrumburrah-Harden Show Society and help us celebrate everything that makes our community great.
